The Corridor is a first-person video documenting a walk through a corridor in an office building. The space appears ordinary at first. Yet with every step, noise derived from the texture of the walls themselves begins to leak into the environment. The walk grows increasingly unstable, until the entire space is overtaken by visual noise generated from still images of the wall surface.
The work depicts a simple corridor inside an office building. Over time, its walls, floor, ceiling, and the wall at the end of the corridor begin to change their illumination independently of the actual time of day.
The space gradually detaches itself from external reality, becoming governed by its own internal rhythm of light.
