Hanami - the traditional day of viewing and admiring cherry blossoms was an event organized
by Jakub Zeman, the so-called Czech Samurai, and his dojo Hakuzan along with many other organizers. The event began with a procession in traditional Japanese attires, moving from Wenceslas Square to the Strahov Monastery. A rich cultural took place, consisting of martial arts, performances, calligraphy, and tameshigiri - a traditional mat-cutting practice alongside more unexpected elements, such as the unveiling of the annual sakura-flavored beer.
